Effective August 3, 2026

Privacy Policy

This policy describes the release behavior of Room to Respond on Android. The app is offline, has no account, and does not transmit app-created state to the publisher.

1. Responsible entity and scope

lovejohnpaul, Inc. is identified as the publisher responsible for Room to Respond on Android. This policy applies to the installed Android app and is effective August 3, 2026. The separate public support pages are informational and their hosting behavior is described in section 11.

2. Intended audience

The app is designed for adults, caregivers, educators, and authorized communication-support partners. If it is used around a child, a parent, guardian, educator, or otherwise authorized adult remains responsible for supervision, assent, privacy, and applicable care or school rules.

3. Purpose

Room to Respond is an offline educational guide for offering choices, allowing response time, preparing accessible environments, and reflecting on respectful communication access. It is not a social network, participant registry, treatment service, emergency system, or official eligibility program.

4. Data collected or transmitted

The app does not transmit personal information to lovejohnpaul, Inc. or an app-operated server. It does not collect names, email addresses, birth dates, diagnoses, precise location, photos, audio, contacts, identifiers, payment information, advertising identifiers, health records, school records, or usage analytics.

5. On-device preferences and session state

Selected choice tiles, environment checks, communication preferences, session-path steps, and structured observation selections may be stored in app-private preferences on the device. These controls are optional, local, and intended to avoid identifying a participant.

6. Sensitive records and free text

The app does not provide a free-text participant record, medical chart, behavior log, school file, or crisis report. Users should not attempt to encode names, diagnoses, contact details, or sensitive narratives into the available structured controls.

7. Permissions

The release does not request Internet, location, camera, microphone, contacts, phone, calendar, notification, storage, accessibility-service, or advertising permissions. Android may provide ordinary operating-system functions needed to display and store app-private preferences.

8. Accounts and account deletion

Room to Respond has no registration, login, account, profile, password, or server-side account data. Account deletion therefore does not apply. The app's local deletion controls are described below.

9. Ads, analytics, and tracking

The app contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, attribution SDK, behavioral tracking, telemetry, remote configuration, or targeted advertising. It does not sell or monetize user information.

10. Sharing and third parties

Because the app does not transmit app-created state, lovejohnpaul, Inc. does not share that state with advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or other third parties. A person who independently copies information outside the app controls that separate action.

11. External contact, export, and network behavior

The Android app contains no contact form, automatic email sender, cloud export, or background network service. Questions may be sent outside the app by postal mail to the address in section 18. Public support pages are hosted separately; the hosting provider may process ordinary connection and security data under its own terms. The Android app does not open those pages or send app-created state to them.

12. Retention

Optional app-private preferences remain on the device until the user clears them, clears the app's storage, or uninstalls the app, subject to Android platform behavior. lovejohnpaul, Inc. does not maintain a server copy of this state.

13. Deletion, backup, and device transfer

The Privacy Centre includes a Clear local state control. Android Settings can also clear app storage, and uninstalling removes app-private state. Cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for the app-created preferences.

14. Security

Local state is kept inside Android app-private storage and is not sent by the app. Device security still depends on the user's screen lock, operating-system updates, physical control, and any device-level backup or administrative software outside the app's control.

15. Children and safeguarding

The app does not create public child profiles, enable adult-minor messaging, request a child's precise location, publish participant work, or deliver child-directed advertising. An authorized adult must manage any use involving a child and respect assent, refusal, privacy, and applicable safeguarding procedures.

16. Health, communication, and safety limits

The app does not diagnose, treat, cure, assess competence, provide therapy, validate authorship, or replace a qualified speech-language pathologist, clinician, educator, or safeguarding professional. It does not endorse facilitator-guided responses as independent communication. For urgent danger or a crisis, use local emergency and safeguarding services; the app does not monitor or dispatch help.

17. Changes and user choices

A material policy change will be reflected in an updated in-app policy and public support page with a revised effective date. Users may choose not to save preferences, may clear local state at any time, and may stop using or uninstall the app.

18. Privacy contact

Questions about this policy may be sent by postal mail to: lovejohnpaul, Inc., 3510 Paces Ferry Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30327, United States. Do not include medical records, school records, crisis details, or another person's sensitive information.
