Local controls and clear boundaries
Room to Respond has no account or cloud service. Most questions can be resolved through the in-app Privacy Centre or Android's app settings.
How do I remove saved choices and checks?
Open Privacy Centre and choose Clear all local state. Android Settings can also clear the app's storage. Uninstalling removes app-private state, subject to Android platform behavior.
Does the app sync between devices?
No. Cloud backup and device transfer are disabled for app-created preferences. There is no account or server copy.
Why does the app not ask for Internet access?
All tools, illustrations, sources, and policy text ship in the app. There are no ads, analytics, remote configuration, or background network services.
Can this replace an AAC assessment or professional?
No. It is general education and preparation, not diagnosis, treatment, therapy, competence assessment, authorship validation, or individualized professional advice.
What should I do in an urgent situation?
Use local emergency services and established safeguarding procedures. The app does not monitor, assess danger, provide crisis care, or dispatch help.
